About this Consultation
We are consulting on two points.
- How might having a disability affect a person’s ability to be a door supervisor? We would also like to hear your thoughts on whether we should assess the ability to physically intervene of people who want to be door supervisors and if so, how?
- Close protection licence holders will be required to undertake physical intervention training in order to work as door supervisors. We would like your views on a proposal for how we introduce this requirement.
Your views on the first point will help us set the requirements for door supervisor licences in a way that promotes equality of opportunity for disabled people while ensuring that door supervisors can protect the public and themselves.
